Portraits

This is my lovely grandmother and she had so generously offered to be my model for my second role of film. I really like this picture because it almost looks like she's disappearing into the blackness which has already consumed the rest of the picture.

This is my grandma, Laverna laughing, she thought that my taking pictures of her was funny I guess.

She decided that looking in the mirror would make for an interesting picture. I think it did because you can't see the edge of the mirror or the wall at all.

This particular contact sheet turned out a little under developed,  but the pictures are still good :)

Tilt shift

This is a fabulous view of what my neighbor's pathway to their garden looks like with lens blur around the edges.

This was one of the last pictures i took for this assignment. I took most of these pictures from my roof so i could take the pictures from higher ground. This is my brother Zach about to assist me in getting off my roof with blurred edges.

This is Zach again, but this time on mailboxes! When my mom saw this picture I got in trouble because apparently you're not supposed to stand on the mailboxes...

Again, Zach. I think he was frustrated in this picture because him being my "model" for the tilt shift assignment was getting in the way of his Call of Duty time on the xbox.

This was the last picture I took for this assignment and although the tilt shift effect doesn't really work with this picture I still really like it.

First properly developed role of film pictures

Stole my friend's aviators on the bus and took a picture of my reflection in them.

Found this hanging in my backyard and thought it looked cool with the picture in the background.

This is my friend Sophie; she was sitting across from me on the bus.

Again, this is Sophie. Only this time she's looking pissed.
This is the contact sheet for this first role of film.

Pinhole Pictures

My self portrait taken with a canera. I took all of my pinhole pictures in the class room because i couldn't get the timing right anywhere else.

This is the light table in the front of the classroom and it currently is the home to many film strips.

This is the rose i was given from a singagram (embarrassing) and i layed it across the keyboard.  Exposure time was about 2 minutes and 36 seconds.
