Blur

Contact sheet for blur project.

I was holding a strawberry in my hand while spinning.

I was holding my phone while spinning and i happen to get a text from my friend in the process.
This is my cat angel. Usually her ability to be constantly on the move bugs me, but with a blur project it turns out to be a good thing.

This is my lovely mother, she is helping me with my blur photo project by flapping around a finger puppet she randomly found on her desk.

Multiple Exposures

This is my contact sheet for my multiple exposures. They didn't turn out too well, but oh well...

Until recently I didn't remember what this was a picture of, but as i was posting this i realized they were a pair of my high heeled shoes with rumpled bed sheets in the background.

This is my cat staring at my dragon beanie baby, or me, I can't tell. In the middle is a picture of myself taking a picture of my reflection in a puddle.

This is a picture of myself in a mirror with my desk chair's flower fabric as a background texture.

This was my favorite picture for this assignment, it's of my cat Desi and my backyard playground set. I like how the playground is in the shape of a cat.
This is one of my favorite Mortal Instrument books, City of Fallen Angels, and although the quality of the picture didn't really turn out, I thought the idea behind the photo was still a cool idea.

My scanned face...

My photo teacher told the class to scan their faces, so...here you go internet...

Infrared Landscape

Majority of these photos were taken in the wetlands that are to the left of the golf course. This one was taken by the little marsh pond in there.

This picture was taken on the golf course. There was a LOT of green, but since I took it out of the picture, there's not a LOT of pink.

I really like these pictures taken in the wetlands because I really don't like the color pink. So since the ground in there is covered in dirt and mud and not grass the only thing pink in these photos are the leaves.

In this picture, the only thing in focus really is the mini tree on the right and the pond grass underneath the tree. I like this picture because you can see the reflection of the trees in the water.

This picture was particularly painful to take because the sun was in my eyes so I don't think I actually looked at what I was taking a picture of, but the lighting is cool so I guess it was worth getting my retnas burned.

Landscape Photos

This is the an aerial view of the golf course. I think I took while in a tree.

This is the driveway leading to my friend Ellie's grandparents house which takes us to the golf course.

These were some flowers I took a picture of on my way to my friend's house.

There was some moss and leaves growing on the trunk of this tree I found so I got up close and took a picture of this lone leaf that was sticking out.

This picture is taken from the golf course and the river that you see here is the Tualatin River.

This is my favorite picture from the this particular role of film.  It's right when you walk down the big hill towards some of the more inner courses. I like the way the light hits the bridge in the background.

I'm not sure what kind of flowers these were, but I really like how they're in lone clumps in random places among the bush.

This is my contact sheet for the landscape assignment.

Self Portraits

This is my self-portrait contact sheet. I left it in the wash a bit too long so it was slightly wrinkled when it went into the scanner...

Me at a weird angle. I like this picture because the bottom half of my face is disappearing into the bottom of the picture and you can tell where my other eye really is.

I wasn't sure about this picture, but I turned the brightness up and found that I could actually see myself in this photo.  I'd say it turned out ok.

I've been told I can rock the hat look so i decided to take a few pictures with it.  I really liked the shadow that it made.

This is my favorite picture of the whole year , so far. I took a negative from a previous contact sheet and put it on top of one of my negatives from the self-portrait project and used the enlarger to see what they would look like together. I think the random squiggles from my previous negative screw up gave this picture a really cool affect.

Portraits

This is my lovely grandmother and she had so generously offered to be my model for my second role of film. I really like this picture because it almost looks like she's disappearing into the blackness which has already consumed the rest of the picture.

This is my grandma, Laverna laughing, she thought that my taking pictures of her was funny I guess.

She decided that looking in the mirror would make for an interesting picture. I think it did because you can't see the edge of the mirror or the wall at all.

This particular contact sheet turned out a little under developed,  but the pictures are still good :)
